Opening of Stroller Strides in Rockwall! Stroller Strides is more
than just a walk in the park. It provides fitness for moms of
any fitness level with a unique format to bond with baby, and
all around fun! This awesome workout includes power
walking and intervals of body toning using exercise tubing,
the stroller, and the environment. New mommies, pregnant
mommies, and mommies of any age are welcome.

Strollerskate Playdate

What a blast from the past! I know I had more fun strollerskating than I expected! Heather, Toni and I got the hang of it rather quickly. I am happy to announce that we did not have any injuries. Hayden, Audrey, Braden, and Avery attempted to skate as well. Hayden was the most skilled and even threw in some dance moves while skating along. He was a little firecracker! :)

We will be doing this again, soon. No worries to those who could not make it. Big thanks to Heather and Toni for participating.....probably against your will! :) I had fun!

Fire Station Tour

Fire Station #1 in Mesquite allowed us to come in and take a tour. The nice Fire Fighters showed us the fire truck inside and out including the lights and sirens. They also let us see a Fire Fighter in full gear and gave all the kids stickers and coloring books. We all had a lot of fun and look forward to doing another Fire Station Tour soon!

Barnes and Noble Children's Storytime

Barnes and Noble Storytime was a success! :) The kids sat around and did their best listening to the two

stories that were read to them. They were given a couple coloring pages to color after the reading. Great job listening and coloring! :)

After storytime, we strolled on over to Brooklyn's for some pizza. What great pizza they had! The kids seemed to really enjoy their fun day! :) Thanks to all that made it! I love hanging out with Luna Moms Club of Mesquite, Forney and Rockwall. You rock! http://www.meetup.com/newparents-556

Couple's Night Out

The first ever Couple's Night Out was a success! Yay! We all had a wonderful time together. We all met at Shenaniganz in Rockwall on August 1st at 7:30pm. The group was composed of the following moms with their husband's: Julia and Nick, Amy and Kevin, Kate and JT, and myself (Lindsay) and Wesley. We had some good eats, great conversation, and delicious drinks! :) Thank you to those that came and don't worry if you missed out this time. We will, definitely, be having another Couple's Night Out real soon!
